Chapter 10-Health,Stress,and Coping

In the movie Rent the characters Mark Cohen, Roger Davis, Mimi Marquez, Tom Collins, Angel Dumott Schunard, Marueen Johnson, and Joanne Jefferson all are tenants inside a old New York East Village. All of these tenants and friends all are struggling with either life, love, aids, or thier impact in the world. Since all of these friends are each roommates and great friends they all come together and form a social support network for one another. A social support network is frinends and social contacts that one can depend on for help and support. This movie aplies to psycology class because the social support network the frends and roommates have with one another is a way for each one of them to cope with their stress, which is in chapter 10 under social support.
