The 2007 highlighted movie "Reign Over Me" was about Alan Johnson who stumbles across Charlie Fineman, his old college roommate, played by Adam Sandler. Charlie Fineman was suffering from the death of his wife, and three daughters on the dark day of September 11. the terrosist acts brought upon New York. Durning the movie Alan Johnson notices Charlie's need of help and tries his best to accomidate Charlie with the much need help. This move relates to psycology class because it deals with Psychological Responses under the terms of major behavior Responses due to the stress of Charlies unfortunate loss. The 9/11 accident caused Charlie to have a burnout, a burnout is a pattern of physical and psychological dysfunction in response to continuous stress, due to the memories of his family that his wife's parents, his apparment, and many other family friends reproduce in side his mind. These memories eventually cause Charlie to develop Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder is classified as a pattern of adverse reactions folowing a traumatic event involving reexperienceing the memories, also known as (PTSD).
